Ingredients

  • 2 cans (15 oz / 425 g each) black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 onion, finely diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce

  3. Mash beans in a bowl, leaving some whole for texture.
  4. Add oats, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, tomato paste, soy sauce, cumin, paprika, herbs, flax egg, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  5. Form into 6 patties. Refrigerate 30 min.
