Frequently asked questions about Dinner123

Coming soon for Android and iPhone.

Can Dinner123 build my grocery list from a recipe?

Yes. When you view a recipe, you can add its ingredients directly to your shopping list — no retyping required.

If two recipes use the same ingredient, does it appear twice?

No. Dinner123 combines duplicate grocery items when possible, so your list stays clean and easier to shop from.

Can my partner and I edit the same shopping list?

Yes. With Household Sync, two people can share the same live shopping list and see updates in real time.

Can I add my own family recipes?

Not in the current version. Dinner123 launches with a built-in cookbook of over 300 recipes, with more recipe features planned for the future.

Does Dinner123 support gluten-free or other dietary needs?

Yes. Recipes are organized into helpful categories, including options like Gluten-Free, so you can find meals that better fit your household.

Can I hide foods, recipes, or categories I never use?

Yes. Premium users can hide unwanted items, recipes, or entire categories so Dinner123 feels more relevant to the way they actually cook.

Does the shopping list work without signal in the store?

Yes. Your shopping list stays available on your device while you shop. If you are using Household Sync, changes may need an internet connection to update on your partner’s device.

Do you sell my shopping or recipe data?

No. Dinner123 does not sell your shopping or recipe data. Dinner123 also does not require your name, email address, or a personal account to use the core app features.

When will Dinner123 be released?

Dinner123 is in the final stages of production. We are currently planning for a late summer or early fall 2026 launch.
