Common questions about Golf Darts World Tour
What types of golf dart games are there?
Golf darts comes in several variations, each with its own rules. Many share one basic rule: only your last dart counts. Some versions use a standard dartboard and the same par on every single hole that tend to be monotonous. Others use custom shapes and targets, so the skills you practise may not transfer as directly to traditional dart games. Golf Darts World Tour uses the familiar wedges of a standard dartboard, with Par-3, Par-4 and Par-5 holes inspired by golf courses around the world. See how every version compares in our golf darts rules for every version.
Can you play Golf Darts World Tour on a standard dartboard?
Yes. Use a free course scorecard with preset pars, or choose the pars as you play. For the latter, the player or best-ball team throwing first decides whether the current hole is a Par-3, Par-4 or Par-5. See the standard dartboard scoring guide. A color-coded dartboard has the pars and hazards built in.
How many darts do you get per hole?
Up to three. Only your last dart counts.
How many people can play?
Any number, including one. Play solo, head to head, or in best-ball teams, and keep a course record for each!
How can Golf Darts World Tour be played in teams?
Teams play “best-ball” with 2, 3, or 4 players. Each player still uses their last dart as their individual score, and the best individual score counts for the team. For example, if your teammate already scored a par, you have the freedom to throw all 3 darts knowing that if you bogey your team score for that hole will still be at least par.
Is the bullseye a Hole-in-One?
Only the double bull. The outer bull is a bogey.
Where can I get a color-coded dartboard?
Color-coded Golf Darts World Tour dartboards are coming soon. You can play now on a standard dartboard using a free course scorecard.
