Start with an opportunity and finish with another. Inspired by Royal County Down Golf Club’s hole-by-hole pars, Royal Moors opens on a Par-5 and closes on one too. Between them, Par-3s at four, seven, ten and fourteen keep asking you to reset your aim. The Par-5 twelfth offers a mid-round lift, but the final target may still decide who takes the honours.
